Tomorrow night’s show will be Mykee’s last. I think he might post a wee goodbye next week.

If you’re coming to the show be sure to wish him well :]

We’ll be partying at the southern (on south clerk street) as well as playing a wee acoustic show after the show at electric circus. Gonna be an awesome night.

Just to confirm and to avoid any rumours, there’s been no gay little spat or anything. Nor are there ‘musical differences’. He just doesn’t want to do the write, tour, record cycle any more for lots of reasons.

I don’t think there’s much else to say just now.

Cheeky wee update

Got half an hour before practice so I thought I’d post an update with what we’ve been up to.
Why not eh?

Artwork for the new record is done and it turned out really sick. It’s really different. I don’t wanna give too much away just yet. Rubber, sledgehammers, bananas, midnight, Dan, 3 different types of crisps. I’ve said too much. You’ll just have to wait.

Had some other design work done as well. This blog is gonna get a big overhaul which I’m really excited about. It’ll look cool as shit and it’s gonna have a ton of cool stuff on it.

We’re gonna have new merch done in time for the tour in August which is getting worked on this week. Marc Aspinall, who did all the work on our last record is doing everything for us again. Check out his site at www.tthp.org

Biggest news just now is that we’re going down to Manchester this weekend to shoot a video for a track off the EP called ‘Not Guilty’. We’ll take a video camera with us and hopefully have a wee blog about it next week. I can’t wait. Hoping not to get pissed on by 10 watering cans underneath a cold and dirty underpass this time but there’s no guarantee that won’t happen. Gonna be fun anyway.

So when do I get to hear this new record that I’m so freakin’ psyched about?!!
I hear you cry…..

It’s coming out August 10th!!

The new video, website, tour dates, myspace will all be online mid July.

Good times!

So basically, one more month and this new record will start getting all up in yar faces.

It’s fucking killer. I promise.

I’ll hopefully post a video update next week about this weekend.

Just one more week and we’ll be in sunny cardiff.
Mostly sitting a dark room playing rocks and rolls, but it’ll be sunny outside :]
Our week before then is gonna be pretty mental.

We’re finishing up 2 songs tonight
Demoing them Saturday & Sunday
Playing in Glasgow Sunday night
Rehearsal Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday night
Then drive to Wales after work Friday.

Gonna be a pretty crazy week but it’s gonna be wicked. Can’t wait. We’ll be posting updates here daily while we’re in wales so swing by to see what we’re doing and say hi!

2 weeks today and we go into the studio!

Recording with Romesh is the best thing I get to do every year so I’m really excited.
I know this record is gonna turn out awesome

We’ve put ourselves under a lot of pressure to make sure we’re ready for it and it’s started to come together over the last couple of weeks.
We’ve got 6 songs finished, and 4 unfinished.

We’re all really happy with the 6 we’ve got, and as we’re only recording 6, it’s pretty likely 1 or 2 of them won’t make it on so just like D:Ream said, things can only get better.

We’re playing with Senses Fail in April which is pretty awesome.
Get your tickets now for it cause it’ll sell out.

Tour last week was awesome. Thankyou to everyone that came out and saw us! We’ll post some pictures and video’s as soon as we get hold of em. If anyone has any from a show they came to, we’d love to see them.
It’s back to the murky darkness of our practice space this week to write the rest of our next record. Can’t wait to get back into it. It’s been going so well.

We head down to Wales on the 3rd of April so let’s hope we’ve got our shit together by then eh? :]

Make sure you pick up the new prodigy and lamb of god records. Both out this week, both awesome! Also, Blakfish signed to Hassle records this week which is wicked news. They are one of the best UK bands around at the moment, gi em a wee listen if you haven’t already.
