Songs are really shaping up now, Ali is rockin out the vocals! Last night Sean made us all a lovely Thai curry, the studio is smelling a bit fruity now and little dave was burnt at both ends ;) also Ali did a stinkin fart down the mic and Mr Genockey made a SICK beat from it, the whole this is is one fart and the power of protools…i smell a B- Side. Today we got to look round Rockfield’s other studio “The Quadrangle”, HUGE studio and as you can see it looks amazing. Plans for the rest of the night is to track a little bit more whilst having a few cheeky glasses of vino, BUSINESS!

We spent the most of our weekend eating far to much bbq, our bellies are getting bigger by the day. Today was quite a chilled one, we’ve spent most the the eve jamming and tracking some other tunes mainly with piano and the Rhodes. Still going strong, this is gonna be a late one.

Thought I’d drop a quick post to say Merry Christmas(!!!) – and to let you know what we’ve been up to and what’s happenin.

For anyone that doesn’t already know, Mykee left a couple of months ago, so we’ve been taking our time over figuring out what we’re gonna do next.
We’ve got a couple of shows in January, both of which will be with our new drummer!

We’ll announce who it is soon enough but rest assured, he’s fucking sick, a perfect gentleman, and beats the shit outa his drums – which is all you can ask :]

We’re gonna do a run of shows in March – one of which is booked already with the Automatic at King Tuts. Email us if you want tickets for that one.

Finally, we’re recording our debut album in June, probably followed by a run of dates in September / October.

So most of 2010 is gonna be spent writing for the new record, which we’ve already started. New stuff is sounding wicked. Can’t wait!
